Smart Ambient Assisted Living Ubiquitous System
The SAALUS project aims to improve care for the elderly and frail by creating intelligent and reconfigurable living environments (Ambient Assisted Living). Through experimental activities, the project develops a proactive platform that leverages the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data analytics. This is achieved by innovatively integrating wearable sensors, e-textiles, everyday objects, and high-performance wireless networks. The ultimate scientific and technological goal is to transform spaces into a predictive care ecosystem, capable of monitoring health in real time, anticipating potential critical issues, and seamlessly and continuously connecting patients, caregivers, and doctors.
