The first phase of the project process is the Design. In this phase Gematica produces all the preliminary and detailed documentation required by the project, including:
During the design all the drawings and documentation required are also produced as input for engineering installation department like: combined layouts, main cable ways design, installation design etc.
Gematica manages all the activities needed for the preparation and execution of the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Factory Integration Tests (FIT) with the presence of the customer.
The objective of FAT is to demonstrate the correct functionality and compliance of the subsystem with the contract requirements and the applicable standards. FAT includes the following steps:
The objective of FIT is to test in the factory all the integrated functionalities between the TLC subsystems in compliance with the contract requirements and subsystem requirements.
Installation supervision & commissioning
Gematica supervises the correct installation of the subsystem with inspections on site and adequate training to the installation company.
After and in parallel of the installation supervision Gematica performs for each site of the System (i.e control center, depot, stations, vehicles, service vehicles) all the activities to guarantee that all equipment operates in accordance with the approved design documents and are ready for commercial service.
This phase ends with a formal acceptance tests conducted in the real environment (SAT and SIT) to verify the real performance and functionality of the systems as well as to validate the systems with the customer.
